In this project, we are really trying to think about the challenges that people with different disabilities have.

A lot of this came out of discussions I've had with my sister, who has CP, and watching my mom take care of my grandmother which dementia. We also had some meetings with homebuilders and asked them to map out their house of the future and almost everyone included some sort of "mother-in-law quarters." They said that more and more people are asking for them, or at the least considering the possibility that they would need to expand the home to account for something like that.
