Mobility Gap

Filling the spaces between highways and sidewalks

discover concept design prototype

Project Overview

After a century of building our world around large and heavy cars, we are finally deciding that the effects, mental and physical, from the loss of our green spaces, pollution, local and global climate changes, geopolitical instability, and so much more, may not be worth it.

The landscape is changing and the need for smaller, lighter, more efficient, urban and suburban mobility has become more apparent. With e-bikes and scooters carrying individuals on the sidewalks and large heavy vehicles on the highways, what does a vehicle look like that fills in the gap?

In this project, we are partnering with mobility visionary Dan Sturges, creator of the original Neighborhood Electric Vehicle, now known as the Polaris Gem, to launch a new vehicle for a new generation and fill the mobility gap for the modern world.
