As more and more people are moving in toward urban centers the cost of real estate has continued to climb pushing out businesses with slimmer margins like grocery stores. For lower-income city-dwellers this is causing a major problem because fresh food is no longer readily available and they are forced to rely on inexpensive fast food and low nutrition packaged foods.
Let's explore new options for what it would take to provide fresh and nutritious foods for low-income families who are housed in these growing food deserts.
We are still exploring this problem. If you would like to see a challenge for this project, let us know.
